“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

Making Disciples

One of the primary purposes of the local church is the discipleship of believers. Here at Whitefield, we believe missions and discipleship go hand in hand. As we seek to tell others about Jesus Christ, we also make careful provision to teach them about what the Bible says about Him. No matter your age, gender, ethnicity or circumstances, we want to help you grow in your walk with Christ.

Each week, our pastor presents truths from the Word of God to our entire congregation. We meet together on Sunday mornings to hear a common lesson that we can take home to discuss with our family and apply to our lives. Click here for service times or here to listen to some of our recent sermons.

Bible Teaching

WBC also offers many other opportunities to learn about the Bible, God, and our purpose as Christians. Whether it is through Sunday School, Home Groups, or the various Bible Study Series we offer, our members are always connected to the Word.

Discipleship is not just about sitting in a class for an hour every week. It is also about learning to serve and love others the same way Jesus did. This means that -through all of the various ministry opportunities we offer- the people of Whitefield Baptist Church are always learning through service.

Sometimes the greatest lessons in the Christian life come from our interactions with others. Here at Whitefield, we truly do love each other and we become better followers of Christ through constant fellowship. After all, in Christ we are a family!
